Gross weather makes us feel dirty

This has been a busy, not great week. I've been working way too much. Tuesday, there was a major issue. Shane was supposed to pick up Lily from her sitter's, and he was running late. Long story short, five million phone calls TO Gap, from my sitter and Shane's parents, I picked up lily at 9 pm. My sitter was NOT happy. And I was pissed everyone was calling me. I don't know what Shane was thinking, thinking he could leave her over there that late. But it was sooooo stressful. And I told Gap I needed less hours, and this week they gave me 19--instead of 20? Big help. Plus, I'm babysitting my sisters next week. Double stress. Blah!

So, enough venting. It's finally my weekend!!! Yay! Tomorrow Shane and I are finally going out for our anniversery. Elizabeth, my sweet sister, is watching Lily. What a doll. I really need this night out, away from Lily. Phew! The rest of this weekend is fun, relaxing, family time, and an english paper.

So, I'm about to start making some chili, got another shower and lily another bath (gross weather makes us feel dirty) and then i'm picking up my sisters for my mother tonight. Shane made a good point: Gene and Lisa (his parents) don't really seem into watching Lily. They never offer anymore, and he doesn't want to ask them. But my mom and siblings are always open to it, and we do stuff for them too, so we don't feel bad asking. Lisa and Gene NEVER want date nights or anything. We WOULD watch Chase if they wanted us to!! It's weird...I hope I am never like that. Shane and I better keep having dinner dates.

To all my bloggie friends reading this--give me a call sometime! I've been very lonely with no girlfriends.
