just the three of us

Hi everyone. Hope the week is going well so far.
Yesterday we took Lily trick or treating! She had alot of fun and ate some of her first candy...exciting! She dressed up as a little cow. I will post pictures soon.

I got into an arguement with Shane's father though. Shane and I have decided that we are going to start looking for a house. We are ready to move into one. Now, I know we're not exactly following the right order of events, but hey we already had a kid, so I think you can throw the time line out the window.

Shane and I ARE getting married. Sooner rather than later, even. My parents are dealing/going through/doing the divorce thing right now, and I'm not going to get in the middle of all that and be like "Look at these wedding cakes! Do you like this color?" etc. Not to mention the fact that I have no one to help me/knows what they are doing. It takes alot of commitment and time, and I don't think anyone has that right now. But as soon as all that is finalized, I will be planning a wedding. I just don't know how, but I will even if I have to wing it all myself.

So we are looking for a house, and everyone is questioning us/saying shit about it. And frankly, I'm sick of it. For example, back to Shane's Dad, he is telling Shane we should move up to Douglasville. And obviously, I don't want to move up there! I would be sooo bored and sooo lonely. So he and I got into that last night.

The bottom line is, Shane and I have talked, and we think its a good idea. And right now, we need to focus on the three of us and what's best for us.
