Goose is all grown up

Somebody may have a case of the Mondays...but not ME!
For some weird, unknown reason, today I have been so happy and relaxed and in a good mood. I even had a Speech test today, and I'm not sure how well I did, but I don't really care...weird, huh?

So let's see. Friday I took Lily to her ONE year checkup! She weighs 19 pounds, and she got THREE shots. She was a big girl though...kind of. We had lunch with Katie and then I worked that night. Lily is off the bottle now, slightly by force. Let's just say a certain mother in law to be sort of laid down the law to me. But I'm over that now. Lily is doing alot better though. It was a little rough at first.

Saturday, I worked again. 10-3. My check will be sweet this week. Actually, it was a tough start working at Gap and meeting all the people. But now I looove it. I love some of my managers, and have made some friends too!! So after work, on whim, Stacy, Travis, and Bennett came over for dinner--fajitas--and Stacy and I went and got milkshakes.

Sunday, we went to Douglasville. It was pretty awful. Shane went fishing with his Dad for the day, which was good for them to spend time together, but I should have stayed at home or gone to my mother's and let her take me to Starbucks or something. We sat around all day, Chase was whiny and yelled at his mother, and it was all dark and the house was messy. I kept turning on lights and cleaning up THEIR house. STUPID!!! Then, it was hard to lay Lily down over there, and I had to lay with her for like an hour, which I NEVER do. I ended up falling asleep too. So, worthless day!!! But I did cook a big dinner last night--breakfast for dinner!! Omlettes, homemade hashbrowns, and bacon. Yummy.

Soo...tomorrow I am working, and one day this week I am going shopping for FALL clothes!! I need new JEANS and tops soooo stinking bad its crazy! And this weekend is TA-DA!!!!!!!! Shane and Callie's three year anniversery. What the heck? Thats sooo crazy! But exciting! Now just to find a sitter for little darling Goosie...

do you remember that will ferrell skit where some guy is like "I'd sell my soul to the devil for a pop hit" and then Will Ferrell pops in, in a devil costume, and he's like "here's one:
mondays, I hate mondays
they make me so sad
WEEKends I prefer the WEEKends
ohh-oh-ohohhhhh"?

it's so lame, but so funny.
