I woke up really early again this morning because Shane's dog was chewing my ear, the kitten was crying, and then lily woke up. So much for plans of sleeping. So, things are already in full swing in the Wilson slash Mahaffey household. Designing Women provides our background noise, and Lily is walking around the room saying "Dog-do," her word for dog. She still has her bottle, but it will be gone for her birthday on September 19. Don't worry!
Lily is getting a big tooth, and she has been AWFUL. Fussy, whiny, and refusing to nap. She keeps pulling out her earrings too, so at first I thought she might have an ear infection, but she seems ok this morning. I gave her a little tylenol and some baby orajel last night, and she woke up crying once but fell back asleep before I even sat up.
In other news, my parents divorce is starting to go in full swing. Obviously, I am not going to post any of the details, but it does take a toll on me and my family. Sometimes, if I think about it too much, it makes me very upset. Blah. I will just be glad when it is all over.
Tonight I have to work, and Saturday is the working marathon. Yuck. Sunday at least I will be off, and I will spend the whole day with Shane and Lily. We're getting Lily a bigger carseat and probably going foodshopping. Yawn.
Well, now I am going to play around online a little bit more and then start cleaning the house when lily goes down for her nap. Have a great day and a wonderful weekend!
