(Katherine, what was that weird thing you called the knicknacks around that lady's house? I can't remember, but it was so funny.)
So, yesterday, I went and saw my mom and brother for a bit, and then I watched Bennett at Stacy and Travis' new apartment. We were all trying so hard to go out to eat, but then the stressful ordeal began.
Stacy and I were both tired and not feeling good, but we were like, let's go walk it off around Virginia Highlands or Little 5. Then the rain starts. So we cruise around and look at houses. Travis calls, and he and Bennett are locked out of their car in the rain after trying to go play at a playground. But--the house keys are also locked in the car. So we are all trapped.
Luckily, Travis' dad drives down from Dunwoody to bring a key. By then, the kids are tired and cranky, and Lily is tearing the Barnes and Noble Kid's section apart. So we canceled on dinner plans, and Lily and I headed home. Sweet Shane luckily had Mellow Mushroom pizza and a big Greek salad waiting.

Classes start Monday, so I think today Lily and I are resting. Tomorrow I'm getting my nails done and Lily is going to her a sitter for a few hours. Then Saturday night I have to work, and hopefully I won't be working Sunday. Then Monday classes start in earnest...eek!
