Here I am...Rock you like a hurricane!

So alot has happened, good and awful.

I'll get the awful out of the way first. Yesterday, Shane and Lily came in from a walk and our new kitten Scout tried to make a beeline for outside. The door slammed on her, and she started flopping around like a fish out of water. Shane called me and said, "Your kitten is really hurt and you need to get here." I was on the way to the store with Jenna and Bobby but we turned right back. Jenna pretty much took control of the situation, it was awesome. We took the kitten to an emergency vet, and they told us it would be 90 bucks just to SEE the doctor. I was like, this is crazy. Luckily, a nicer guy came up and was like no we can at least look at her to see if she is stable or needs to be put down. Turns out, she was stable thank goodness. Something is wrong with her two front legs. She can't use them really. Today she is doing alot better, she pushed up on them, but she can't walk. It is soo sad. I called an old Wesleyan teacher who is also a vet, so I am waiting for him to call me back. Everyone pray that my angel kitten is ok! She is so tiny and so full of life!!

So that bad news aside, I got the job at Gap. So I am going to fill out paper work on Tuesday and I have training at the Gap at Perimeter on Wednesday. I am excited and looking forward to it. Todd said I had alot of enthusiasm.

My little get together went fine. I got some cute presents and a birthday cake and I got drunk off champagne which leaves me with a killer headache today! Lily has been ill all day, I dont know why! So much stress with this kitten and lily! So tonight, Lily is going to Sharlenes and Shane and I are finally eating that steak dinner.

I heart Katherine and Jenna soo much for being with me at my bday party! Thanks for giving me your champagne (hehe) and I loooove my presents!!
